| Ag BioTech InfoNet covers all aspects of the application of biotechnology and genetic engineering in agricultural production and food processing and marketing. Our focus is on scientific reports and findings and technical analysis, although the page also covers emerging issues of widespread interest, developments in the policy arena, and major media coverage. We offer a road-map to the wealth of resources on the Internet where interested individuals can access original documents and more detailed information from a variety of sources. In "Sources and Links" we highlight the best sites on the Internet for information on key aspects of agricultural biotechnology and its implications - including the several excellent websites managed by our sponsors. Ag BioTech InfoNet hopes to emerge as a valuable resource for anyone trying to better understand the implications of agricultural biotechnology. Our goal is to facilitate access to critical, original documents and information, and recognized experts. We will also provide a forum where a broad spectrum of people and organizations can raise tough questions, report new technical findings, and offer conflicting views. Original writing and analysis released through Ag BioTech InfoNet will feature applications of new evaluation tools and concepts designed to help people separate fact from fiction in the rapidly evolving world of agricultural biotechnology. Our page is young but growing fast - so please excuse some gaps in coverage.
